An IRA may be opened with as little as $100 for a variable rate IRA or $1000 for a fixed rate IRA. A fixed rate IRA may be for 12, 18, or 24 months.

Interest is compounded and paid monthly to the IRA.

Contributions may be made to a variable IRA up to the annual IRS limits.


Distributions may begin at age 59-1/2 without IRS penalty.
